भारत दुनिया का दूसरा सबसे बड़ा चाय उत्पादक है। / India is the second largest tea producer in the world.

1. भारत का उत्तरी भाग 2021-22 में देश के वार्षिक चाय उत्पादन का लगभग 83% के साथ सबसे बड़ा उत्पादक है, जिसमें अधिकांश उत्पादन असम में होता है तथा उसके बाद पश्चिम बंगाल का स्थान है। / The northern part of India is the largest producer with about 83% of the country's annual tea production in 2021-22, with Assam accounting for most of the production, followed by West Bengal.
2. असम घाटी और कछार असम के दो चाय उत्पादक क्षेत्र हैं। / Assam Valley and Cachar are the two tea producing regions of Assam.
3. पश्चिम बंगाल में डुआर्स, तराई और दार्जिलिंग तीन प्रमुख चाय उत्पादक क्षेत्र हैं। / The Dooars, Terai and Darjeeling are the three major tea producing regions in West Bengal.
4. भारत का दक्षिणी भाग देश के कुल उत्पादन का लगभग 17% उत्पादन करता है, जिसमें प्रमुख उत्पादक राज्य तमिलनाडु, केरल और कर्नाटक हैं। / The southern part of India produces about 17% of the country's total production, with the major producing states being Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka.
