Answer /उत्तर :-चोल वंश का अंत होयसल और यादव वंश ने किया था। चोल साम्राज्य के अंतिम शासक कुलोत्तुंग द्वितीय के उत्तराधिकारी निर्बल थे। वे अपने राज्य को अक्षुण्ण बना रखने में असफल रहे। होयसलों ने चोलों को कावेरी के पार भगाकर मैसूर प्रदेश को अधिकृत कर लिया था व चोल सम्राट् अपने आक्रामकों एवं विद्रोहियों के विरुद्ध शक्तिशाली होयसलों से सहायता लेने के कारण उनकी कठपुतली बन गए थे।
The Chola dynasty came to an end by the Hoysala and Yadav dynasty. The last ruler of the Chola Empire, Kulottung II's successor, was weak. They failed to keep their kingdom intact. The Hoysalas had driven the Cholas across the Kaveri and occupied Mysore and the Chola emperors had become puppets against their aggressors and rebels, seeking help from powerful Hoysalas.
