It sums up in 4,000 sutras the science of phonetics and grammar that had evolved in the Vedic religion. / ४) अष्टाध्यायी भारतीय व्याकरण पाणिनि द्वारा छठे ५ वें ५ वें ई.पू. में लिखे गए व्याकरण पर एक संस्कृत ग्रंथ है। इस काम ने शास्त्रीय संस्कृत के लिए भाषाई मानकों को निर्धारित किया। यह ४,००० सूक्तों में वैदिक धर्म में विकसित किए गए ध्वन्यात्मकता और व्याकरण के विज्ञान पर आधारित है।
