The write-back method involves updating only the cache location and to mark it as updated with an associated flag bit, often called the dirty or modified bit. The main memory location of the word is updated later, when the block containing this marked word is to be removed from the cache to make room for a new block. The reason for the write back method is that during the time a word resides in the cache, it may be updated several times. / राइट-बैक विधि में केवल कैश स्थान को अपडेट करना और इसे संबंधित ध्वज बिट के साथ अद्यतन के रूप में चिह्नित करना शामिल है, जिसे अक्सर गंदा या संशोधित बिट कहा जाता है। शब्द का मुख्य स्मृति स्थान बाद में अपडेट किया जाता है, जब इस चिह्नित शब्द वाले ब्लॉक को नए ब्लॉक के लिए जगह बनाने के लिए कैश से हटाया जाना है। राइट बैक मेथड का कारण यह है कि जिस समय कोई शब्द कैश में रहता है, उसे कई बार अपडेट किया जा सकता है।
