The classical economists were of the opinion that – the law of diminishing returns applies only to agriculture and to some extractive industries, such as mining, fisheries urban land, etc. However, it is applicable to other sectors such as manufacturing as well. / शास्त्रीय अर्थशास्त्रियों का मत था कि – घटते प्रतिफल का नियम केवल कृषि और कुछ उत्खनन उद्योगों पर लागू होता है, जैसे कि खनन, मत्स्य पालन शहरी भूमि, आदि। हालाँकि, यह अन्य क्षेत्रों जैसे कि विनिर्माण पर भी लागू होता है।
