Industries are classified on the bases of source of raw material. There are two types of industries agro based and mineral based industries. Agro based industries are the one that produce jute, cotton, silk, tea, coffee, rubber etc. Mineral based industries are iron and steel, cement, aluminum, machine tools, and petrochemicals producing industries. / कच्चे माल के स्रोत के आधार पर उद्योगों का वर्गीकरण किया जाता है। कृषि आधारित उद्योग और खनिज आधारित उद्योग दो प्रकार के होते हैं। कृषि आधारित उद्योग वे हैं जो जूट, कपास, रेशम, चाय, कॉफी, रबर आदि का उत्पादन करते हैं। खनिज आधारित उद्योग लोहा और इस्पात, सीमेंट, एल्यूमीनियम, मशीन टूल्स और पेट्रोकेमिकल उत्पादन उद्योग हैं।
