According to Article 61 of Indian constitution, the President may also be removed before the expiry of the term through impeachment for violating the Constitution of India. The process may start in either of the two houses of the Parliament. The house initiates the process by levelling the charges against the President. / भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 61 के अनुसार, राष्ट्रपति को भारत के संविधान का उल्लंघन करने के लिए महाभियोग के माध्यम से कार्यकाल की समाप्ति से पहले हटाया भी जा सकता है। प्रक्रिया संसद के दोनों सदनों में से किसी एक में शुरू हो सकती है। सदन राष्ट्रपति के खिलाफ आरोप लगाकर प्रक्रिया शुरू करता है।
