Under the Residuary powers of legislation enumerated in Article 248 of the Indian Constitution, Parliament has exclusive power to make any law with respect to any matter not enumerated in the Concurrent List or State List. Such power shall include the power of making any law imposing a tax not mentioned in either of those Lists. / भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 248 में उल्लिखित कानून की अवशिष्ट शक्तियों के तहत, संसद को समवर्ती सूची या राज्य सूची में शामिल नहीं किए गए किसी भी मामले के संबंध में कोई भी कानून बनाने की विशेष शक्ति है। ऐसी शक्ति में उन सूचियों में से किसी में भी उल्लेख नहीं किए गए कर को लागू करने वाला कोई कानून बनाने की शक्ति शामिल होगी।
