Bee is an animal of the insect class. Honey is obtained from bees, which is a very nutritious food. They live in union. Each union consists of a queen, several hundred males and the rest of the workers. Bees live by making hives. Their nest (hive) is made of wax. Its genus Apis has 7 castes and 44 subspecies. Bees recognize their family members through dance.

मधुमक्खी कीट वर्ग का प्राणी है। मधुमक्खी से मधु प्राप्त होता है जो अत्यन्त पौष्टिक भोजन है। यह संघ बनाकर रहती हैं। प्रत्येक संघ में एक रानी, कई सौ नर और शेष श्रमिक होते हैं। मधुमक्खियाँ छत्ते बनाकर रहती हैं। इनका यह घोसला (छत्ता) मोम से बनता है। इसके वंश एपिस में 7 जातियां एवं 44 उपजातियां हैं।मधुमक्खी नृत्य के माध्यम से अपने परिवार के सदस्यों को पहचान करती हैं।
