India borrowed features of fundamental duties and planning mechanism from the former Soviet Union. India opted for planned economic growth model as resources were scarce at the time of independence. So it was imperative for the leaders to move along planned model so as to achieve optimum utilization of resources development and meeting the aim of social justice simultaneously. / भारत ने पूर्व सोवियत संघ से मौलिक कर्तव्यों और योजना तंत्र की विशेषताएं उधार लीं। भारत ने नियोजित आर्थिक विकास मॉडल को चुना क्योंकि स्वतंत्रता के समय संसाधनों की कमी थी। इसलिए नेताओं के लिए यह अनिवार्य था कि वे नियोजित मॉडल के साथ आगे बढ़ें ताकि संसाधनों के विकास का अधिकतम उपयोग हो सके और सामाजिक न्याय के उद्देश्य को एक साथ पूरा किया जा सके।
