The Fisheries Department of the state of Kerala has acquired the first marine ambulance named “Pratheeksha”. The marine ambulance is constructed by Cochin Shipyard Ltd. The vessel can move at a speed of 14 knots per hour and will be used to rescue fishermen in distress. / केरल राज्य के मत्स्य विभाग ने "प्रतिक्षा" नामक पहली समुद्री एम्बुलेंस का अधिग्रहण किया है। समुद्री एम्बुलेंस का निर्माण कोचीन शिपयार्ड लिमिटेड द्वारा किया गया है। जहाज 14 समुद्री मील प्रति घंटे की गति से आगे बढ़ सकता है और संकट में मछुआरों को बचाने के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जाएगा।
