 During the reign of Sikandar Lodi, the state department of translation was established for translating Sanskrit texts into Arabicpersian and vice-versa. He was patron of learning. He used to compose poems in the name of ‘Gulrukhi’. He got translated the Sanskrit book of ‘Ayurveda’ into Arabic language in the name of Farhang-i-Sikandari./ सिकंदर लोदी के शासनकाल के दौरान, संस्कृत ग्रंथों का अरबी-फ़ारसी और अरबी-फ़ारसी में अनुवाद करने के लिए राज्य अनुवाद विभाग की स्थापना की गई थी। वह विद्या के संरक्षक थे। वह ‘गुलरुखी’ के नाम से कविताएँ लिखते थे। उन्होंने ‘आयुर्वेद’ की संस्कृत पुस्तक का फरहंग-ए-सिकंदरी के नाम से अरबी भाषा में अनुवाद कराया।
