Prehistoric period in the early development of human being is commonly known as the old age or Paleolithic Age. There was no paper or language or the written words & hence this period has no books or written documents. Painting on the wall canvas was a way to express human feelings, artistic creation in this period.

मानव के प्रारंभिक विकास के प्रागैतिहासिक काल को सामान्यतः वृद्ध युग या पुरापाषाण युग के नाम से जाना जाता है। कोई कागज़ या भाषा या लिखित शब्द नहीं थे और इसलिए इस काल में कोई किताबें या लिखित दस्तावेज़ नहीं हैं। दीवार के कैनवास पर चित्रकारी इस काल में मानवीय भावनाओं, कलात्मक सृजन को व्यक्त करने का एक तरीका था।
