In 1832, the officials of the British East India company demarcated the forested hilly regions of Rajmahal Hills as Damin - i-Koh. Later on due to collection of Lagaan from this region, the revolt of Santhalis was raised in the leadership of Sidhu, Kanhu Chand and Bhairav

1832 में, ब्रिटिश ईस्ट इंडिया कंपनी के अधिकारियों ने राजमहल पहाड़ियों के वनाच्छादित पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों को दामिन-आई-कोह के रूप में सीमांकित किया। बाद में इस क्षेत्र से लगान संग्रह के कारण, सिद्धू, कान्हू चंद और भैरव के नेतृत्व में संथालियों का विद्रोह हुआ।
