Explanation / व्याख्या :-
The Anglo-Sikh Battle was fought on 21st Feb 1849, Where Charles Nepiyar leaded the British forces. In this battle the British devastated Sikhs with their excellent cannons. After that on 29th March 1849, the Punjab Province was made a part of British by Dalhousie's declaration.
एंग्लो-सिख युद्ध 21 फरवरी 1849 को लड़ा गया था, जहाँ चार्ल्स नेपियार ने ब्रिटिश सेना का नेतृत्व किया था। इस युद्ध में अंग्रेजों ने अपनी बेहतरीन तोपों से सिखों को तबाह कर दिया था। उसके बाद 29 मार्च 1849 को डलहौजी की घोषणा के द्वारा पंजाब प्रांत को अंग्रेजों का हिस्सा बना दिया गया।
