Explanation / व्याख्या :-
The Instrument of surrender was signed on 19th December 1961. It was signed by General Antonio Vassalo Silva, to hand over the territory of Goa to the Indian government. The annexation of Goa, by the Indian Army was held under the "Operation Vijay". Goa became the 25th state of India on 30th May 1987.
आत्मसमर्पण के साधन पर 19 दिसंबर 1961 को हस्ताक्षर किए गए थे। गोवा के क्षेत्र को भारतीय सरकार को सौंपने के लिए जनरल एंटोनियो वासालो सिल्वा ने इस पर हस्ताक्षर किए थे। भारतीय सेना द्वारा गोवा पर कब्ज़ा "ऑपरेशन विजय" के तहत किया गया था। गोवा 30 मई 1987 को भारत का 25वाँ राज्य बना।
