Explanation / व्याख्या :-

Before the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, Patharughat Peasants' Uprising occurred on 28th January 1894. More than 100 peasants fell to British bullets in the Patharughat area, around 60 km NorthEast of Guwahati, in the Darrang district.

जलियांवाला बाग हत्याकांड से पहले, 28 जनवरी 1894 को पथरुघाट किसानों का विद्रोह हुआ था। दरांग जिले में गुवाहाटी से लगभग 60 किलोमीटर उत्तर पूर्व में पथरुघाट क्षेत्र में 100 से अधिक किसान ब्रिटिश गोलियों का शिकार हुए थे।
