Explanation / व्याख्या :-
Aitchison Commission was a Public Service Commission which was set up in the year 1886 during the Viceroyship of Lord Dufferin. The Chairman of the committee was Sir Charles Umpherston Aitchison.
As per the recommendations of entry in Civil Services.
1. Maximum age was fixed at 23.
2. Statutory civil services system of recruitment should be abolished.
3. Simultaneous examinations in England and India should be stopped.
4. Two tier classification of civil service would be replaced by three tier classification.
एचिसन आयोग एक लोक सेवा आयोग था जिसकी स्थापना वर्ष 1886 में लॉर्ड डफ़रिन के वायसराय के दौरान की गई थी। समिति के अध्यक्ष सर चार्ल्स अम्फरस्टन एचिसन थे।
सिविल सेवाओं में प्रवेश की सिफारिशों के अनुसार।
1. अधिकतम आयु 23 वर्ष निर्धारित की गई।
2. भर्ती की वैधानिक सिविल सेवा प्रणाली को समाप्त किया जाना चाहिए।
3. इंग्लैंड और भारत में एक साथ परीक्षाएँ बंद की जानी चाहिए।
4. सिविल सेवा के दो स्तरीय वर्गीकरण को तीन स्तरीय वर्गीकरण द्वारा प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा।
