Explanation / व्याख्या :-
In the famous Irwin Declaration on 31 October 1929 it talks about giving India the status of a dominion state. In December 1929 the Congress Session was held in Lahore by Jawaharlal Nehru and it demanded complete Home Rule, an agreement was reached in Delhi on 5 March, 1931, this agreement is called Gandhi-Irwin Agreement.
31 अक्टूबर 1929 को प्रसिद्ध इरविन घोषणा में भारत को डोमिनियन राज्य का दर्जा देने की बात कही गई है। दिसंबर 1929 में जवाहरलाल नेहरू द्वारा लाहौर में कांग्रेस अधिवेशन आयोजित किया गया था और इसमें पूर्ण स्वशासन की मांग की गई थी, 5 मार्च, 1931 को दिल्ली में एक समझौता हुआ, इस समझौते को गांधी-इरविन समझौता कहा जाता है।
