Explanation / व्याख्या :-

The Non-Cooperation movement was started on 1st August 1920, by Gandhi ji following the demand of Swaraj. Its sole purpose was not to support the governmental activities. After 5th Feb. 1922, Gandhiji declared off the movement due to incident of Chauri Chaura of Gorakhpur.

असहयोग आंदोलन की शुरुआत 1 अगस्त 1920 को गांधी जी ने स्वराज की मांग को लेकर की थी। इसका एकमात्र उद्देश्य सरकारी गतिविधियों का समर्थन नहीं करना था। 5 फरवरी 1922 के बाद, गांधी जी ने गोरखपुर के चौरी चौरा की घटना के कारण आंदोलन को बंद करने की घोषणा की।
