The Civil Disobedience Movement was started by Gandhiji in 1930. It was an extension of the Dandi March which was started on 12th March 1930 from Sabarmati Ashram. Gandhiji and 78 others reached Dandi on 6th April, 1930 and broke the salt law by making salt on the sea shore. Initial disobeying the law was the main aim of civil disobedience movement.
सविनय अवज्ञा आंदोलन की शुरुआत गांधीजी ने 1930 में की थी। यह दांडी मार्च का विस्तार था जो 12 मार्च 1930 को साबरमती आश्रम से शुरू हुआ था। गांधीजी और 78 अन्य लोग 6 अप्रैल, 1930 को दांडी पहुँचे और समुद्र तट पर नमक बनाकर नमक कानून तोड़ा। कानून की अवज्ञा करना सविनय अवज्ञा आंदोलन का मुख्य उद्देश्य था।
