The Gandhi-Irwin Pact was ratified by Congress in the Karachi Session of 1931, that was held from 26 to 31 March. 26 से 31 मार्च तक आयोजित 1931 के कराची अधिवेशन में कांग्रेस द्वारा गांधी-इरविन समझौते की पुष्टि की गई। कराची अधिवेशन में गांधी को लंदन में आयोजित होने वाले दूसरे गोलमेज सम्मेलन में भारत राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस का प्रतिनिधित्व करने के लिए नामित किया गया था और इस सत्र में मौलिक अधिकारों और राष्ट्रीय आर्थिक कार्यक्रम पर प्रस्ताव पारित किया गया था।
