In December 1929 the Lahore Session of Congress was held and here the goal of "Purna Swaraj" was accepted. On 31st December 1929 Indian freedom flag was hoisted. 26th January 1930 was observed as the "Independence Day" in the meeting. Gandhiji started Dandi March on 12th March 1930 and completed it by breaking salt law on 6th April 1930. Entrepreneurs like G.D Birla were in full support of the national movement.
