The United States of America adopted a democratic constitution on 17 September 1787. Constitution of America came into force on 4 March 1789. American constitution has been amended 27 times. The first ten amendments are collectively known as the Bill of Rights. The Continental Congress functioned as the provisional government of the United States from 1774 to 1781. US Constitution was the first complete written national constitution.
संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका ने 17 सितंबर 1787 को एक लोकतांत्रिक संविधान को अपनाया। अमेरिका का संविधान 4 मार्च 1789 को लागू हुआ। अमेरिकी संविधान में 27 बार संशोधन किया गया है। पहले दस संशोधनों को सामूहिक रूप से बिल ऑफ राइट्स के रूप में जाना जाता है। कॉन्टिनेंटल कांग्रेस ने 1774 से 1781 तक संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका की अनंतिम सरकार के रूप में कार्य किया। अमेरिकी संविधान पहला पूर्ण लिखित राष्ट्रीय संविधान था।
