Explanation / व्याख्या :-

Nathuram Godse before going to the gallows had expressed his desire for keeping his ashes intact till India is reunited and throwing them into the Indus after the reunification has been achieved. He assassinated Mahatma Gandhi on 30th January, 1948. He was executed in the Ambala Central Jail on 15 November 1949.

नाथूराम गोडसे ने फाँसी पर चढ़ने से पहले इच्छा जताई थी कि वे भारत के पुनः एकीकरण होने तक अपनी अस्थियों को सुरक्षित रखेंगे तथा एकीकरण हो जाने के बाद उन्हें सिंधु नदी में बहा देंगे। उसने 30 जनवरी, 1948 को महात्मा गांधी की हत्या कर दी थी। उसे 15 नवंबर 1949 को अंबाला सेंट्रल जेल में फाँसी दे दी गई थी।
